Logan Manuel serves as the Deputy Chief of the Industrial Rescue Fire Department, leading emergency response operations for Venture Global LNG’s Calcasieu Pass facility and the multi-billion-dollar Calcasieu Pass 2 construction project in Cameron, Louisiana. With over a decade of experience in the fire service, Chief Manuel has developed a highly specialized skill set in industrial firefighting, technical rope rescue, and incident command, establishing himself as a trusted and effective leader in complex, high-risk environments.

Chief Manuel began his career as a volunteer firefighter with Cameron Parish Fire District 7, where he quickly demonstrated a strong aptitude for managing demanding emergency situations with professionalism and precision. In 2020, he was appointed First Assistant Fire Chief of the South Cameron Fire Department, a newly consolidated agency serving the southeastern region of Cameron Parish. In this leadership role, he has been instrumental in guiding the department through significant challenges, including large-scale hurricane preparedness, evacuation coordination, and post-storm recovery operations.

In addition to his operational leadership, Chief Manuel has successfully negotiated and implemented multi-million-dollar memorandums of understanding between public agencies and private industry partners, strengthening emergency response capabilities and regional collaboration. Following the devastating hurricanes of 2020, he was selected to serve as the Public Information Officer for South Cameron Fire, where he played a key role in delivering critical information to the public during times of crisis.

A dedicated leader and mentor, Chief Manuel is deeply committed to developing those around him—fostering growth, instilling purpose, and building a strong culture of teamwork and accountability within his organizations.

Chief Manuel also serves as the Fire Prevention and Public Education Officer for South Cameron Fire Department, where he actively promotes safety awareness and community education. His professional certifications include Technical Rope Rescue, 1081 Incipient Industrial Fire Brigade Member, Hazardous Materials Technician, Texas A&M Liquefied Natural Gas Training, Fire Service Communications, Advanced Emergency Medical Dispatching, and certification through the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch.

Beyond his fire service roles, Chief Manuel is actively involved in local governance and community development. He serves on the Cameron Parish Ambulance Service District No. 1 Board and the Cameron Parish Recreation District 7 Board, contributing to the advancement and sustainability of critical public services throughout the parish.

Outside of his professional commitments, Chief Manuel values time with his family spending time with his wife and three sons, supporting them in their athletic pursuits and spending quality time with them in the marshlands of Cameron Parish.
