Hieu Dang serves as a Lead Instructor at Industrial Rescue Instruction Systems in Beaumont, Texas, specializing in industrial firefighting, hazardous materials response, and emergency medical instruction.

Hieu began his firefighting career in March 2013 with the City of Orange Fire Department. After three years, he joined Beaumont Fire/Rescue to further advance his training and operational experience. In October 2020, he was promoted to Driver/Operator, a position he continues to hold today. Hieu is an active member of several specialized teams, including the Hazardous Materials Response Team, Dive Team, and also serves as a Language Interpreter for the department.

Since 2020, Hieu has expanded his impact through instruction, teaching Fire, Medical, and Hazardous Materials courses. His teaching philosophy emphasizes real-world application, teamwork, and continual professional growth.

When off duty, Hieu enjoys spending quality time with his family, working on home projects, engaging in outdoor activities, and fishing—whether in fresh or salt water.
