This course combines First Responder Awareness and Operations-level training, meeting the standards of NFPA 472, NFPA 1072, and OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120(q), and equips individuals with the knowledge and skills to recognize, assess, and respond safely to hazardous materials incidents in both defensive and initial operational roles.
There are no prerequisites for this course.
Participants must attend all class sessions and field exercises. Successful completion of the course requires 100% attendance.
